There’s so much I want to say about attending the Defeat the Mandates rally in DC on Sunday. What an unbelievable experience. What an honor to perform on such a historic day. I’m so proud of everyone who was there. Thank you for showing up. I’m told it was somewhere between 30 to 40,000 - not to mention the thousands who watched online all around the world. People of every race, religion, age… it was a beautiful thing to witness in an era so dead set on division. Not one arrest or disturbance was noted by police in association with the march. As I read through some of the media coverage today it’s humorous to see how far the mainstream outlets will go to misrepresent such a positive, important, and successful day. These are the hurdles we face in this pursuit for truth and fight to retain our freedom. But, as JP Sears said at the rally on Sunday… “Spoiler alert, freedom wins.” — and he’s absolutely right.

When I started speaking out through my music last year it was a scary time. I lost fans, friends, music associates and opportunities. Like many in this movement I was instantly labeled a “dangerous extremist” and anti-science conspiracy nut by people who have known me for years. People I thought would at least ask me WHY I’m speaking out. Instead, without question, they shut the door on me. I was getting messages from disappointed fans saying they were deleting my music and all kinds of angry accusations about who I was as a person. It was disheartening, for sure, but I stood my ground and found myself in a free fall of faith in God and trust that truth would prevail over time. As the year progressed and I released more of these songs and videos I experienced censorship and suppression for the first time in my twenty year career. All those things you hear about big tech censorship, people being shadow banned… they’re real. My music videos have been demonetized, age restricted, hidden, and removed from search results on YouTube. Facebook posts weren’t being seen, certain tweets would have little to no interactions, and the overlords at Wikipedia all of a sudden decided to delete the Five Times August page after 15 years, as if it was taking up prime real estate on their platform. I’m sure at this point I am on some kind of government list of trouble makers! So, yes, there have been many hurdles along the way, but…

Every time I lost a fan I made ten new ones. For every one message of anger and disappointment there were countless messages of support, gratitude, and encouragement. Every time I was censored it brought even more attention to this music and it’s message. Every opportunity lost paved the way for an even bigger one. Now, 12 months after releasing that first song I have found myself on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC, singing to a massive and peaceful crowd, my voice echoing across the National Mall, forever entwined in history and the energy of Martin Luther King’s famous words as an iconic towering sculpture of Abraham Lincoln looks over and listens in. I shared the stage with so many brilliant minds and experts who will go down in history as heroes of our time. It was all just so… unforgettable. And nobody will ever take that day and that moment away from me, from us, and all who made it happen.

So I say all this to tell you… we’ve already won. Freedom and truth prevail. Every time they try to stop us, every time they lie and slander one of us, guess what? We grow. There are more of us than there are of them and others are waking up. There’s no stopping it. Have no fear, take the risk, speak up and stay loud, fight for what you know is right. You will have support no matter what hurdles come your way. Free fall into that trust in God and have faith. I have no regrets and neither will you. All you have to do is make the decision to do it. Be brave. Make your voice heard. Post online. Get to a rally. March with us. Organize. Be in this moment, devoted to demanding a better future for our children and their children. Now is the time, it’s at our doorstep. Do not comply. Resist. It’s already done, they lost. Freedom wins.

Much Love & Thanks,
Brad
